This is a panel discussion about applying the concept of inherent rights to the ecosystem as a whole. This is seen by the panelists as a way to fight against the increasing commodification and exploitation of nature in the court of law, as well as a basis for the global environmental movement. Discussing are well-known environmentalists Vandana Shiva, Maude Barlow, Cormac Cullinan and Pablo Solon. David Harveys moderates. The panel was held at the Brecht Forum at CUNY Graduate Center on April 21, 2011.

Should Nature Have Rights ?… Nature is there to serve humans
humans in turn were given a brain to make the best use of nature.
The answer to the question is in truth it does not have an answer
however the intention of the question & questioneer having rights.
The point will be reached where the planet can no longer support
sustain human life at such time / humanity for a period will having
to vacate planet // thus the planet in having a time to re-new itself
humanity in time returns & resume its journey unto enlightenment.
It should be pointed out each individual is an individual in spiritual
terms / each individual has an spiritual account which carried from
life unto life /such spiritual accunt can’t be lost or stolen it belongs
to the individual. While & only while in a human material frame can
one add to their spiritual development unto the gaining of spiritual
experience & spiritual understanding / thus the gift of life precious
each day not adding to such spiritual account but a day that’s lost.
The final stage of spiritual development is one turning the senses
inward in a unfolding of the spiritual self. (take note it not that one
given anything its one’s re-intruduced to that which covered over
by a pile of material wants needs /such / that meditation removing.
Throughout the history of humanity there being spiritual teachers
for every level of being among such in taking one unto meditation
be the “Teacher of Teachers” // presently the /teacher of teachers
is Prem Rawat // On PC search put (words of peace) or ( words of
peace global) on site a selection of videos in which Prem explains
meditation // of ones turning the senses inward in an unfolding of
the spiritual self /Not ideas or beliefs. Not a heaven or a paradise
beyond the clouds // but that of spiritual experience bringing one
a clarity of understanding // in answering all questions. Is there a
God ?. Is there a heaven ?. What is the purpose of life of living ?.
Should nature have rights ?. All ones questions being answered
thus ones going beyond ideas and beliefs / unto knowing creator.
